Christ Church began its building program with a thorough master plan process, which explored not only loactions for new facilities, but also appropriate re-programming of existing space. With the new cource charted, the initial phase of building included renovations of children's education space, a new entry/gathering area, and a new fellowship building. The entry provides a new and friendly focus for those coming into the church grounds. The large gathering space beyond the entry doors connects the existing sanctuary and chapel to the new fellowship space and "parlor" or meeting room. The fellowship space contains audio and video systems, and is home for the contemporary worship service. By means of movable partitions, the fellowship space can be sub-divided into four smaller meeting rooms. And located between the fellowship and "parlor" spaces, and serving both, is a commercial kitchen.
- 16,000 square feet new - $3,380,000 (2002)
