Pleasant Union UMC is a vibrant and growing congregation in southeast Guilford
County. After a masterplan study examined potential groth and physical constraints of the site,
it was concluded that construction of a fellowship hall, kitchen, meeting room, three classrooms, and
toilets would be undertaken and renovation done in the existing buildings to better serve the ministry
needs of the congregation. The new construction stepped down the site and blended with the existing
ediface in form and materials. Renovation added offices and relocated the music ministry suite.
