Wesley Chapel Fire Station No. 31
Wesley Chapel, North Carolina
View Interior Photos
Wesley Chapel Fire Station is a fully equipped combination fire and EMS station. Located about thirty miles south of uptown Charlotte, the town of Wesley Chapel is one of the fastest growing areas in North Carolina. The fire station is sited at the edge of a rolling pasture and abuts a new neighborhood. At the back of the station is a large training room that doubles as a community room. Daytime spaces such as offices, a large kitchen, dayroom and dining room, are located on the ground floor. The private nighttime spaces of the dormitory, bedrooms, and bathrooms, are located on the second floor. Access to the trucks is provided by the slide pole from a balcony. The exterior design uses a hipped roof and arched topped windows to relate to the neighboring houses.
